Cashmere is a delicate material. By storing your sweater in a bag (preferably made of cotton or other breathable fabric), you avoid friction against other clothes, which can lead to pilling. The bag also helps regulate moisture and prevents odors. Feel free to put lavender, cedar or mothballs in the bag for extra protection.
