CASHMERE AND MERINO WOOL
Kashmir
Many people think that cashmere wool comes from Italy, but the exclusive wool comes from various breeds of goats that mainly live in the cold regions of China and Mongolia. It is precisely the harsh climate that causes the goats to develop a fine undercoat, the basis for the soft and luxurious cashmere yarn.
Wool is a natural, renewable and biodegradable fiber with a number of technical properties. In addition, it is a material that can be easily recycled into new wool at the end of its life.
Our cashmere products are designed in Norway and produced in a small factory in Inner Mongolia, where we have deliberately chosen to use pure, natural fibers and surplus materials. All yarn, whether new or leftover from other productions, is Oeko-Tex, The Good Cashmere Standard, RWS and GOTS certified, among other certifications. This ensures that the production meets strict health and environmental requirements, while at the same time protecting animal welfare.
Merino wool
The merino wool in our sweaters comes from selected farms in Australia, known for producing some of the world's finest and softest wool. The wool used in our blends has an exceptionally fine fiber fineness, making it soft and comfortable against the skin. With its natural breathability, elasticity and durability, it is an ideal partner to blend with cashmere when creating luxurious and long-lasting knitwear. At our manufacturer, the wool is blended with carefully selected cashmere, which is not only soft and comfortable, but also provides a consistent and high quality. The spinning process ensures that the fibers are preserved, resulting in a delicate material that is both warm and light - perfect for our sweaters.
We strive for high quality and a timeless design that gives the clothes a long lifespan.
In our products we use 3 different qualities:
· 100% cashmere
· 30% cashmere and 70% merino wool
· 10% cashmere and 90% merino wool
We combine cashmere with merino wool to create the perfect balance of luxury, comfort and durability. Pure cashmere provides the softest, most exclusive feel, while cashmere blends provide more durable garments that can withstand more frequent use and easier care, without compromising on softness. This way, we can offer sweaters and jackets that suit both everyday wear and special occasions, and for different needs and desires.
UPGRADED TEXTILE WASTE
We transform expired and surplus textiles from Norwegian hotels into useful reusable products such as laundry bags, shoe bags, shopping nets, toiletry bags, spa products and trolley covers, instead of them being thrown away or burned.
From NorTekstil and RentX we receive textiles such as tablecloths, bedding, sheets and towels that can no longer be used for their original purpose. By giving them new life, we reduce waste and replace single-use products made of plastic, paper and virgin materials.
SURPLUS MATERIALS
In large-scale clothing production, material requirements are often miscalculated, creating surplus quality fabrics that would otherwise be thrown away. We give these textiles new life as functional and beautiful shopping bags, shopping folders, shoulder bags and bunad bags.
All threads and cotton ropes we use are Oeko-Tex certified. Our bags replace unnecessary plastic and paper bags, make organization easier and help take better care of your belongings, while reducing consumption.
