Our productions
CASHMERE – from goat to sweater
Our cashmere and merino wool sweaters and jackets start their life in Inner Mongolia, at a small family-owned factory in Batou that has been making some of the world's most beautiful garments since 2006. Here, traditional craftsmanship is combined with modern production techniques to ensure that each garment has the quality and softness that our customers expect.
The cashmere we use is carefully selected from goats that live in the high, clean mountains of Inner Mongolia. The fibers are collected once a year, in the spring, and carefully combed by hand to preserve their fine quality. The pure cashmere fiber is washed, dyed and spun into yarn at our own spinning mills, before being knitted into timeless sweaters and jackets in Batou. Every step of the process is carefully considered to preserve the fiber’s softness and natural properties.
For our blended yarns, we combine cashmere with merino wool sourced from carefully selected farms in Australia.
We place great emphasis on sustainability and traceability. Our yarn has the most recognized certifications, including GOTS, RWS, Traceable Cashmere, Sustainable Fibre Alliance, The Good Cashmere Standard and GRS. This ensures that both materials and production follow strict environmental requirements and ethical guidelines. You can read more about our products here: REPASDO
For us, responsible production is also about people. We have entered into a Code of Conduct agreement with all our manufacturers, which ensures good working conditions and fair pay for everyone involved. Our Norwegian agent visits the factory annually, and we meet with the manufacturer here in Norway to ensure that quality, craftsmanship and ethics are always at the forefront.
Every sweater and jacket is therefore not just a garment, it is the result of years of tradition, experience, care for animals and people, and an uncompromising pursuit of quality. We want you as a customer to feel the history, warmth and luxury in every single garment.

FROM TEXTILE WASTE TO RESOURCE
Every year, large amounts of textile waste are thrown away from Norwegian hotels, we collect this and create new fine products, which replace products made from new natural materials. They are sewn, embroidered and printed locally at OPT in Oslo, a VTA company (permanently adapted work) that gives people the opportunity to develop through work. Here, skilled employees are given adapted tasks based on their skills, and an opportunity they would not otherwise have in working life. The products are short-haul, and we keep transport to a minimum to reduce the environmental impact.
SURPLUS MATERIALS
In large clothing productions, it is challenging to calculate the exact material requirements, which results in faulty production, incorrect dyeing and cancellations. This leads to large amounts of quality fabrics either being left unused in stock or being thrown away. Instead of treating these textiles as waste, we give them new life by developing functional packaging bags and traditional clothing bags. The products are sewn and embroidered in factories we have visited, or collaborated with for many years in Norway, China, India, Poland, Lithuania and Italy. The manufacturers collect suitable textiles for us and sew them into beautiful packaging bags, bread bags, traditional clothing bags, packaging folders and handbags.
